Harvey Mudd College is a premier engineering, science, and mathematics college in the United States. Frontier needed to assist Harvey Mudd College in upgrading their dish room, focusing on the dish machine required to handle the task efficiently. We identified additional challenges the kitchen team faced with the workflow in their trough and loading area. During our site visit, we provided on-the-fly consulting and proposed redesigning the dish trough. We successfully implemented a dish machine and a revamped trough workflow to accommodate 1500 students at each meal. The optimized dish room met the initial upgrade needs and addressed unforeseen workflow challenges for enhanced efficiency.
