Bavel is a Middle Eastern restaurant by Chefs Ori Menashe and Genevieve Gergis. With family roots in Israel, Morocco, Turkey, and Egypt, Ori and Genevieve fulfilled their long-standing desire to open a restaurant showcasing the cuisines of their family lineages. Our mission was to represent the chefs' interests at every contractor meeting, providing on-the-go updated guidance to the team. Building a world-class kitchen from the ground up in the Downtown Los Angeles' Arts District isn't for the faint-hearted. We faced many challenges during construction, but produced results for the best possible product for Chef Ori. Our efforts resulted in a highly successful fine-dining establishment, where reservations are booked two months in advance.
