Oliver’s Trattoria is the sister location to Oliver’s Osteria in Laguna Beach, serving a modern and fresh take on cuisine from the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy, showcasing homemade pasta and pizza. Owner and Executive Chef Erik De Marchi called Frontier for help in turning over a small existing restaurant space, and completing it without needing a full submittal to the health department. To achieve this, we needed to provide step-by-step guidance on aspects not typically within the scope of our installation, such as navigating electrical and plumbing requirements and requesting support from the gas company—this included being on call during gas company inspections and facilitating a three-way phone call with the gas company representative. Steve from Frontier personally showed up on the final installation day to supervise that all final pieces were installed correctly. Oliver’s Trattoria had a smooth and successful transition with thorough support beyond the usual installation scope.
